Recycling Campaign
Following a highly competitive tendering process, Cube was awarded the contract. We were tasked to develop an engaging creative communication campaign. This was to raise awareness of the new service and encourage householders to use the new weekly food waste collection service.
The council had a fairly low kerbside recycling rate of 37% in the financial year 2014/15, which is below the national average of 44%.
Following a thorough brief from the council, the creative for the campaign was developed and delivered using a mixture of offline and digital tools. These included: Leaflets, Posters, 48 sheets, Social media and
artwork for a school campaign fronted by Nadiya Hussain was also developed.
This was to engage households to pledge to recycle in order to win prizes for pupils and schools.
